Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

Remydo turns photos, voice notes and typed messages into reminders and to-do lists. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect, how we protect it, and what we never do with it.

Our promises in short

Please check every reminder

Remydo uses AI to read your photos, files, voice notes and messages and suggests reminders from them. AI can make mistakes: it can misread a date, a time, a dose or a name. That's why Remydo always shows you what it found before anything is saved, so you can check and correct it.

You are responsible for checking that each reminder is correct before you save it. Remydo is not responsible for missed, late or incorrect reminders, or for anything that results from them, including reminders that were captured wrongly and saved without being corrected. See Accuracy of reminders below.

1. What we collect

We don't use advertising or analytics trackers, and we don't collect your location. When you add a photo, the app removes the hidden location information that phones store in pictures.

2. How we use it

We use your information only to run Remydo for you:

We don't use your content for advertising and we don't build marketing profiles about you.

3. How we protect it

No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information and we'll keep improving.

4. Who can see it

We never sell, rent or trade your information, and we never share it with anyone for advertising or marketing.

To run the app, we use a few trusted service providers. They act only on our instructions and only for the job listed:

ProviderWhat they doWhat they receive
RenderHosts our server and database (United States)Your stored data, kept encrypted as described above
OpenAIThe AI that reads your capturesOnly the photo, file, voice note or text you ask Remydo to read
BrevoSends our emailsYour email address, name and the email content (for example, a sign-in code or a reminder you asked to be emailed)
Google"Sign in with Google" (only if you use it), and public holiday datesThe sign-in request. For holidays, our server fetches public calendars by country only; nothing about you is sent

People you share with. If you share a to-do list, the people who join can see and edit that list and see your name. A shared reminder is a one-time copy that the other person receives.

The law. We would only disclose information if the law requires us to, and only what is required.

5. How the AI reading works

When you ask Remydo to read a photo, file, voice note or message, it is sent over a secure connection to our AI provider (currently OpenAI), which sends back the dates and details it found. Under OpenAI's API terms, this data is not used to train their models; they may keep it for a short time (up to 30 days) to prevent abuse, and then delete it.

Please don't add things you'd never want processed, such as bank card numbers or passwords.

6. Accuracy of reminders

For anything important, please keep your own record too, such as the original letter, ticket or prescription.

7. Phone permissions

You can turn any of these off in your phone's settings. The related feature then won't work, but the rest of the app will.

8. How long we keep it

9. Your rights and choices

10. Children

Remydo is not meant for children under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If the change is important, we'll also tell you in the app or by email.

12. Contact us

In the app, open Profile → Report a problem or send feedback, or email support@remydo.com.
